Light Army

The Light Army is a collection of constructs created by the Light Gundam to support its objectives. These drones vary in size, shape, and function with some being produced in large numbers and others being unique. They all do seem to have been built with the Miniature Giant Space Hamster Empire's military doctrine in mind, as each drone is suited for combat to some degree. Each drone is also equipped with a self-destruct function to prevent capture, which triggers automatically after sufficient damage is taken to slag its components so they cannot be studied by enemies.

General Drones

• Combat Drone - An offshoot of the protodrone made in roughly the same size and shape, the combat drone trades versatility for improved weaponry, armor, and maneuverability. Though less of a jack-of-all-trades than its predecessor, it is markedly more dangerous in direct combat and appears designed for that purpose expressly.
• Hunter-Killer - HK drones resemble robotic scorpions and are designed for the tracking and elimination of living beings that use magic. Most of their defenses are anti-magic in nature, though they can still prove dangerous against non-magical opponents. They are capable of carrying up to four support drones, typically a mix of Arcane Disruptors and Arcane Drainers.
• Protodrone - These drones are roughly the same size as a humanoid. The sphere-shaped body houses a faerzress crystal that acts as a power source. Three crab-like legs are connected to the waist and allow for climbing as well as underwater travel. The arms possess a multitool that can swap out the end of the appendage to various weapons, allowing protodrones to engage in both close- and long-range combat.

Support Drones

• Arcane Disrupter - The main type of support drone employed by the Light Army, disrupter drones are designed to prevent enemies from spellcasting in combat. They are also equipped with an energy blaster for fire support and can electrify their outer shells while tackling enemies in high-speed direct attacks.
• Arcane Drainer - These drones are the size and shape of a common insect and difficult to tell apart from a natural animal at a glance. They are designed to latch onto spellcasters and disrupt the flow of magical energy in the target's body.
• Support Striker - An offshoot of the Arcane Disrupter, this drone is designed to support other drone units rather than hamper their enemies. They possess various technological abilities that replicate the effects of magic spells used to empower others, along with a blaster used for attack and defense.

Unique Drones

Squawk - Squawk is the first unique drone created by the Light Gundam. Squawk's primarily function is surveillance and it boasts stealth systems as well as high-speed maneuverability to perform this role. In combat, Squawk is equipped with a powerful sonic disrupter as well as talons that can disrupt and partially drain magical energy. These combined with further specialized weapons allow Squawk to engage in direct combat or act as a bomber. It also carries a compliment of support drones, typically a mix of arcane disrupters and arcane drainers. After the Light Gundam was destroyed, Squawk transferred its ownership to Ban and revealed it was loaded with weapon schematics the Light Gundam had designed and wanted to make their way back to the Miniature Giant Space Hamster Empire in the event of its destruction.
