Eel's Maw Stronghold

Eel's Maw Stronghold is a new fortress in the Black Loch, built by the recently arrived kuo-toa of the Bluescale Empire. Several years ago, an earthquake caused the Bluescale River to breach into the Black Loch and allowed the empire to use their namesake to enter the area. Vlorluc, the stronghold's commander, was sent to the area to build a fortress and use it as a staging point. The next phase of his plan was to breed large siege crabs, titanic beasts powerful enough to crush walls and tear through armor. His first brood of has already reached maturity and the second will be full-grown after one more molting. Once they are ready, his troops and their siege crabs will swim out from the stronghold and bring war to the communities of the Black Loch.
The fortress is protected by walls, soldiers, and a trebuchet put in place to defend against hostile ships (with a second one currently under construction). The beds are made of seaweed, as is custom in all kuo-toa cultures, which smell wonderful to kuo-toa and horrible to any other humanoid. The fortresses name comes from the shape of the hole below it, which leads to the lower caverns where the siege crabs are kept.
