Cryonax is among the most dangerous of the Elemental Princes of Evil. Unlike the other princes, Cryonax has neither the ruler of an opposing elemental force nor a good prince of the same element to oppose him, allowing him to rule the Para-Elemental Plane of Ice unchallenged. He rules from the Chiseled Estate, a massive structure of ice, rock crystal, and glass said to be the coldest place in all the plane. From there he schemes to increase both his own power and that of his realm, hoping to raise its status into becoming the fifth base elemental plane (alongside the planes of air, earth, fire, and water). And that plan is merely the first stage of Cryonax's ambitions. From there, he plans to usurp control of all the Elemental Planes and ultimate freeze the entirety of the multiverse.
