The individuals in my story are humans. Plain and simple humans like you and me. They deal with the same imperfections and struggles as we do, too.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Humans are capable of standing upright on two legs, freeing their two arms for other uses. Humans also possess opposable thumbs, giving them a distinct advantage over other species, as they are capable grabbing a variety of items, including tools and weapons.

Genetics and Reproduction

Humans undergo bisexual reproduction. One male and one female are required to allow for reproduction.

Ecology and Habitats

Humans are capable of surviving in various types of climates, but there are temperature limits to what the human body can take. Humans generally choose to live with many of their own in large communities and societies.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Humans need a variety of foods for the purpose of their nutrition, such as proteins, fruits, vegetables, dairy foods, and grains. Many of them at this point in time care for their own livestock and harvest their own crops to provide for themselves and their families, though some farmers are capable of growing an excess amount of crops for the purpose of selling them to many people. Humans are also capable of hunting game when need be; in the continent of Newground, venison and duck have both become popular commodities for humans.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The vast majority of humans have five senses: hearing, touch, taste, smell, and sight. They are merely adequate in regards to the senses that other species in the animal kingdom are capable of, but the human mind ensures that all five senses are put to great use for a variety of tasks.
