Earning and Losing Piety

You increase your Piety score to Bafadgerlas when you expand the god’s influence in the world in a concrete way through acts such as these:
  • Travelling through the wilderness without upsetting the natural order
  • Defending the wild creatures of the land
  • Facing down a larger foe and standing your ground
Your piety score to Bafadgerlas decreases if you diminish his influence in the world, contradict his ideals, or undermine his primal influence through acts such as these:
  • Destroying a den or burrow
  • Desecrating a natural water source
  • Allowing a settlement to expand further into the wilderness
  • Abandoning someone weaker than you to fend for themselves

Bafadgerlas’s Devotee

Piety 3+ Bafadgerlas trait
As a devotee of Bafadgerlas, you have embodied the spirit of the badger, and are relentlessly, stubbornly fearless. You can cast heroism with a range of Self using this trait a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. You also learn the cantrip Mold Earth. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
