Being the head nation of the United Kingdom, England harborers most of the island's economic resources. With ports and airports and being historically the conquer of the world put England in a position of respect. For the longest time it was considered just a nation with some power because of its age and legacy, that all changed with Victoria II. Using the massive wealth the royal family still had Victoria II became the owner of several large English corporations, and now control heavy market shares. As a result the Queen has made it clear that you need her permission in order to build a corporation anywhere on her island. England is managed by Prime minister Sir John Walpole (a descendant of the first prime minister) while the Queen may control the Island as a whole it is Sir John who really dictates English policy.
