The Dulce Memorial

A'ight you limp jacked dunces. Pay attention! Dulce G. Luman invented the bio-chip that every human on earth has written into their DNA. No exceptions, not even yo mamma. Before his invention identity theft was primetime, and lies dominated the public discourse. His invention ended The Last War. You betta believe it! Dulce, the techno junkie of junkies, ushered in a era of rebuilding. A Sizzin' cultural golden age where truth was more important than money or power. Unknown to the Vanilla peoples, he hid a defect in the code. He was in fact the first "Jitter." He could falsify his identity on the net. His false identity actively worked to damage his own achievements. No one knows why. Maybe he was crazy?   We are the Jitters he created. Damn right! We are small part of humanity. But, we make sure that those Vanilla Sizzin' sleazeballs don't get out of control. The majority fears us and we like it that way. Dulce didn't wanna to be worshiped as a god, but his creation of the defect deserves our respect. It is a spiritual rite of passage for every Jitter in the world to travel to the statute of Dulce in Metro New Detroit.  It is a holy place. As each wannabe Jitter, yourselves included, approaches that weathered aluminum monument they can't help but feel a sense of destiny. Hear this you fizzled battery clusters! It is the Jitter ritual to sign the digital guest book with the same false identity as Dulce himself, "Dee Z. Nuts". Don't get caught or we never knew who you were.   Amen

Purpose / Function

Monument to Dulce G. Lumen. The founder of the DNA Bio-chip initiative.

Architecture

The statue is nano-carved from a solid block of aluminum. A wireless interface is installed inside with a fusion power source. Anyone can connect to the statue and sign the guest book.

History

The monument was erected shortly after The Last War. Dulce himself was opposed to the monument but those in charge of the government had it constructed anyways. It has stood unmolested for nearly a hundred years.

Tourism

As time has passed the statue is rarely visited by the general public. If they do, they will notice that the guestbook has been signed thousands of times by a citizen named Dee Z. Nuts.
