While hundreds, if not thousands of corporations exist across the hundreds of lightyears of GSU territory, each varying in size, influence and function, the following are among the most prominent in the sector.
Millennium Armoury
Millennium Armoury is the primary manufacturer of the GSU’s military hardware. They have three main branches, one which specialises in the development of firearms, one for infantry armour, and the third which focuses on vehicles. The corporation owns a vast array of mining, processing and manufacturing facilities across GSU territory, including testing facilities on Chiron.
The corporation was first established during the early days of human colonisation. It had several competitors during this time, one of which included Blizzard Tech which was later bought out by Millennium during the 2500s. In the 28th century, the company has something of a monopoly on military contracts, though this has allowed its rivals to exploit certain niches in the market.
Timber Manufacturing
Timber is the leading corporation among those that manufacture firearms for both law enforcement and civilian self-defense. Although their operations are less prominent on Terra, they are well established on most planets across the GSU sector.
Starscapers Mining LTD
Starscapers is responsible for mining, processing and refining raw materials, which are then later sold to various different corporations for their own uses. The company owns several mining and processing facilities across GSU territory.
Stratos Transit Systems
A leading provider of public transport solutions, Stratos is known for producing high quality maglev trains, automated buses and intercity rail networks designed for seamless urban travel. Stratos also produces most of the GSU’s starbus vessels for interplanetary transport.
Murphy Holdings PLC
Among the countless banking institutions in the GSU, none rivals the prominence of Murphy Holdings PLC. Renowned as the largest and most trusted financial entity, it has earned its reputation through unwavering security protocols and stringent measures designed to prevent theft and ensure unparalleled protection for its clients.
Rajax Construction
Rajax is noted for its prominence on Chorus II but has significant popularity on Terra, Outreach and a handful of other planets in the GSU. They have only a few rivals when it comes to producing buildings of various kinds - both civilian and otherwise - and their interplanetary reach has made them well known to most corporations and the government.
Skandar Roadworks and Infrastructure
A corporation spanning most of GSU territory, Skandar is responsible for the creation of basic infrastructure including roads and buildings. They often work in conjunction with Rajax and Stratos.
Safina Cruise Ships
Safina is a high-end company which specialises in the production of private starships. These custom-designed ships are only affordable by the rich. While they constantly ensure that their products fall under legislative restrictions (such as those on size and armament), every so often they may be prone to taking bribes from exceptionally rich individuals who offer them a substantial payout in order to bypass certain laws.
Johansson and Skarsgard Cybernetics (J&S)
A major producer of quality of life cybernetic implants, the corporation the headquartered on Chorus II but has a significant presence on most highly developed GSU colonies.
