While the vines are a deep shade of green, the leaves are an odd shade of blue. Drying the leaves and then smoking them provides the smoker a sense of euphoria and calmness that lasts for several minutes. However, the leaves are fairly addicting, and in some cities the possession of such leaves are an offense.
