Heathen Guns
Most of the firearms in New Bruxia have been enhanced using the Praetium. These magical weapons are known as Heathen Guns. The appearance of a Heathen Gun is very similar to its regular firearm counterpart, but they are covered in intricate sigils and runes that grant the weapon its magical properties. Some of these alterations are directly equivalent to the properties of the Heathen Gun, and keen-eyed gunmen can recognize a weapon's enchantments with a quick glance. Heathen Guns are magical weapons that can function as a spellcasting focus. When firing them, instead of regular bullets, they shoot concentrated blasts of magic. These weapons ignore the ammunition property, and instead of dealing piercing damage, they deal a damage type determined at their moment of creation, either acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison, or thunder. In addition to this, Heathen Guns are enchanted in a grand variety of ways, gaining one or more properties from the list of Heathen Gun Properties. The rarity of the gun depends on the amount of properties it has: one (uncommon), two (rare), three (very rare), or four (legendary).
