A famous rock gnome inventor in New Neverwinter.
The Optimus Mechanus of the Guild of Machinists, meaning the greatest artificer, and thus leader, of the Guild of Machinists. He also sits on the council as the Lord Academic, and so controls education and also acts as the voice of engineers and inventors. Politically, very active, and has shaped the guild into a highly professional collection of skilled, motivated inventors.
Born in gnomengarde, and later studied in Candlekeep for many years. Became the optimus mechanus in 1678, after joining the guild in 1622. He was the one who invented the tram network, and pushed for the spin network to be built.
