Thor Dorahl MountainMotherhome (Thor Door-all)
Thor Dorahl, the MountainMotherHome of the dwarves, is a marvel of engineering and a testament to the dwarves' skill in stonework and metalcraft. Like its sister city Vag Thurin, it is entirely contained underground, but with no external entrances whatsoever. The city is accessed via a network of winding tunnels and grand halls, each adorned with ornate carvings and intricate metalwork.
The centerpiece of Thor Dorahl is the Great Forge, a massive chamber filled with roaring flames and the ringing of hammers on anvils. Here, the greatest dwarven smiths craft weapons, armor, and other wondrous items using the finest metals and gems mined from deep within the mountains.
Despite being underground, Thor Dorahl is not without natural beauty. The dwarves have worked to incorporate natural features into their city, including underground lakes, glowing mushrooms, and even underground forests. The dwarves of Thor Dorahl take great pride in their city, and will fiercely defend it against any who would threaten their home.
