The Guilds

In the world of Netheria, there is a heavy reliance on Guilds. Guilds are groupings of like-minded or like-goal individuals who strive towards a singular purpose. The Sterian Kingdom has particularly many of these, and offers tax breaks, property, and other benefits to those who would better the Kingdom by offering services as a Guild. Because of the competition and growth laws have been set in place.   QUALIFYING AS A GUILD - There are specific laws regarding what someone must do in order to create, found, or be recognized as a Guild in the Sterian Kingdom.

RANKS OF GUILDS The following is a list of the possible ranks that a Guild might hold within the Sterian Kingdom's system. Each increase in rank denotes more responsibility, size, and performance. In order to increase guild ranking, papers must be filed with the Guildmaster's Bureau showing proof of completed missions with acceptable reviews or outcomes.
  • Aspiring Guild: Not a real rank, but rather a term used for groups of people who have just formed together in order to complete paperwork to become a guild and complete their first missions or outings together.
  • Provisional Guild: The starting rank for newly established guilds. Provisional Guilds are in their early stages, with limited resources and a small membership. They must prove their worth and dedication to gain recognition as an official guild.
  • Accredited Guild: After successfully meeting the requirements set by the Sterian Guildmaster's Bureau, Provisional Guilds are promoted to Accredited Guild status. At this rank, they have demonstrated their competence and adherence to guild regulations.
  • Established Guild: With a significant increase in membership and resources, Accredited Guilds can become Established Guilds. They have a strong presence in their field and are recognized as reliable and influential guilds in Netheria.
  • Renowned Guild: Renowned Guilds are esteemed for their exceptional achievements, expertise, and contributions to the realm. They have a wide network of connections and often serve as leaders within their respective industries.
