High Elf

High Elves are a race of slender and delicate beings, renowned for their exceptional magical ability and affinity for the arcane arts. While they may be physically frail, their minds are sharp and quick, and they possess an innate attunement to the magic of the world that few other races can match. High Elves are often considered the masters of magic, and many of the world's most powerful mages have been of Elven blood.

High Elven Resistance - High Elves have Spell Resistance equal to 8 + Character level. High Elves also have immunity to magical sleep effects and a +2 on saves against enchantment spells and effects.

Ancestral Knowledge: High Elves gain a +2 bonus to Knowledge: Arcana, Knowledge: History, and Knowledge: Planes.
Ley-Line Readers: High Elves gain a +2 Caster Level to every spell or sphere effect they create and begin play with 1 additional spell point.

Genetics and Reproduction

High Elves can reproduce with other species, but in order to create a full blooded High Elf, they must mate with another High Elf. Children with other races will be half-elven, but not half-High-Elven.

Their graceful forms and piercing intellects give them an air of aloofness, and they can sometimes come across as haughty or disdainful towards those they consider beneath them.
