Gy (Guy)

Gy is a small but bustling outpost located across the strait from Redhawk, on the coast of the Parched Plains. The town is known for its harsh climate, with little rainfall and a constant wind blowing in from the plains. The buildings in Gy are mostly made of sandstone, and the town is surrounded by a wooden palisade that serves as protection against the monsters that roam the plains. Despite its harsh environment, Gy is an important outpost for the Sterian Kingdom, as it provides a gateway to the western lands beyond the Parched Plains. The town is a hub for traders and adventurers heading out into the wilderness, and it is also home to a small contingent of soldiers who keep watch over the area.

Industry & Trade

The primary imports for Gy are water, food, and supplies from the other towns and cities in the Sterian Kingdom, as the Parched Plains provide little in the way of natural resources. In turn, Gy exports valuable minerals and ores mined from the mountains to the west, as well as rare herbs and plants that grow in the arid soil. Known for its fruitful commerce with the dwarven mountainhomes to the north via the Stonepass Road.
