Magistrate

The local ruler of the city, the magistrate is elected by the local council of priestesses. The magistrate position is only available to priestesses. In Valor, the magistrate is the local authority but their power is limited to the constitutional laws and traditional customs of Mistvall, they cannot do anything that the monarchy forbids. They mostly administer law, public order, and taxation.

Industry & Trade

The most prominent of the city's exports come from its arcane products, especially potions, tomes, staffs, and magearmor, most of which is produced by the mage colleges. Additionally, Valor has a quite lucrative grasp on the trade of silver and other precious gems from nearby mines. The city imports much of its food supply from other more fertile lands as its snowy terrain makes cultivation nearly impossible.

Architecture

While large and grandiose architecture can be found, Valorish architecture is noted for its filigree and subtle beauty rather than its stunning scale. They are also known for their love of domes and use of marble.
