On the road at the triple border of Grimhallow, Elderspire, and Shanrao stands a small shrine of a dignified looking cat made of polished wood and stone, the shrine foundation itself has details in silver and stands near a red arch in the heart of the forest. Nobody really knows when the shrine was built or by who. The small cat shrine is said to be the adventurous cat spirit of the wilderness named Zelda, an offering to the shrine grants travelers protection along the roads. Zelda is said to walk alongside those travelers who pass by until they reach their destination, she then returns to her home. Cherry blossoms are often seen by the shrine despite none of the trees being in the area.

Sensory & Appearance

The mortal senses are very much at ease when at the shrine. The pleasant ambiance of the distantly heard waterfall and the scampering about of small animals in the woods leaves visitors feeling in harmony with nature.

Offerings of rice, sake, coins, and flowers are often found in the offering bowl.
