Shaegunda

God of Forbidden Knowledge, Fate, and Dreams

Shaegunda, the God of Forbidden Knowledge, Fate, and Dreams, is a terrifying and enigmatic infernal entity. His form defies mortal comprehension, appearing as a swirling mass of writhing tentacles, countless eyes that blink and observe simultaneously, and an array of twisted tongues that utter secrets and forbidden truths. His grotesque appearance reflects his insatiable thirst for knowledge, no matter how dark or dangerous it may be.   The eldritch nature of Shaegunda is unsettling, as his form and presence exude an aura of otherworldly power and mystique. Mortals who dare to gaze upon him are often filled with a mixture of fascination and terror, drawn to his vast well of knowledge while also feeling an instinctual fear of the forbidden truths he possesses.   Shaegunda's realm, C'thuct'zhoh, is a nightmarish plane populated by eldritch abominations. It is a labyrinthine library, an endless expanse of fleshy books containing unfathomable knowledge from across all realms. The air is heavy with the scent of ink and decay, and the constant whispers of hidden secrets fill the space. Mortals who enter this realm are confronted by the horrors that guard the libraries, testing their resolve and sanity as they navigate the twisted paths in search of forbidden knowledge.   In his interactions with mortals, Shaegunda uses the realm of dreams as his chosen conduit. He whispers his temptations and revelations to individuals through their dreams and nightmares, enticing them with glimpses of fate and forbidden knowledge. He offers bargains, often straightforward and without deception, granting mortals access to his libraries or bestowing them with powers and insights in exchange for their own knowledge or the completion of certain tasks.   While Shaegunda's deals may seem alluring at first, they carry the weight of consequences. Mortals who delve too deeply into the forbidden knowledge he offers risk losing their sanity or becoming consumed by their newfound powers. The God of Forbidden Knowledge represents the dangerous allure of the unknown, enticing mortals with tantalizing secrets while warning them of the price they must pay.
