The Arcane Institute is the mages guild in Svaelyn Isles and one of the oldest on the continent. They engage in very advanced magical research in every field, from alchemy to spellcasting. Situated in their very own Arcane District, they have enormous influence in Kyntyr, especially financially as they produce much of the works vital to the economy like potions, scrolls, tomes, staves, and alchemical ingredients.
