Humans
The adventurous, ambitious race of mortals who arrived on the continent in waves, settling and displacing the natives. Originally hailing from the western continent of Elysium in times so long ago that only sages still remember, the first humans of Sol came on ships from the west and spread eastward through settlement, war, and intermingling more than two thousand years ago. Humans tend to be individualistic and quarrelsome, fighting over even the smallest difference to stake a claim of supremacy. On the other hand, humans have shown a remarkable ability to blend into more sophisticated cultures, mixing into other groups and creating many offshoot races, such as half-elves. Physically, humans come in many shapes, sizes, and colors, developing traits that complement their environment and ensure their survival.
Origin and Expansion
As mentioned, humans originally hail from the western continent known as Elysium, fleeing disaster, drought, and war. Waves of ships from the west arrived on the shores of Sol more than two thousand years ago, bringing with them human ingenuity, ambition, and willpower - they conquered and settled eastward, from the frigid lands of Kjarra to the warm shores of Ayrith. Originally settled by elves and other races, the human arrival on the continent disrupted and displaced the natives, pushing them to other regions and giving them a generational dislike of humans. To elves, this was the beginning of the end of their hegemony of Sol, to humans, this was the beginning of this new chapter of their story. At this time, the humans from the West already possessed cultural, linguistic, and religious differences. However, with their arrival, they would, over time, exchange their identities for new ones, tied to the land they now called home.Kings and Emperors
A quarrelsome race, humans don’t possess the venerable lifespan of the elves nor their spiritual temperament. As such, they do not see the consequences of their actions in the same way as longer-lived races. They are prone to fighting their neighbors and among themselves, spilling blood to carve out even the most trivial fiefdom. For a human, achieving fame and glory is among the most potent motivator. They are an ambitious race, ever bound to keep discovering and exploring.

50 years - 70 years. Humans mature in their teen years with slight variation.

Varies slightly though most range from 5'2 to 5'10 on average, with males tending to be taller than females.

Varies slightly though most range from 115 lbs to 190 lbs, with males tending to be heavier than females.
