Basic Information
Anatomy
Elfmon are a biped creature with two arms and two legs. The most distinctive feature that separates them apart from other sentient species is their pointy ears and more crystal clear irises.
Biological Traits
The Elfmon can be classified in three ethnicities; The High Elfmon, The Dark Elfmon, and The Azure Elfmon. (Resubmitted by Dana "Rowdy Mittens" Steven)
High Elfmon - They have a much more vanilla type of complexion to their skin. They also tend to have much pointer ears, often being insulted with things such as "knife ears", as a result. They tend to have more vibrant color eyes such as green, blue, or yellow.
Dark Elfmon - Their skin color tends to be referred to as a more caramel or chocolate complexion. Their eye color is often more of a red or other darker hues on the color spectrum. They are considered the most debauchery in terms of three ethnicities. They are also revered to be the most physically fit Elfmon.
Azure Elfmon - They often have pale skin with pale hair colors with some fashion of blue in the highlights of hair, hence the azure naming of the ethnicity. Their eyes tend to be centered around blues, greens, and teals, typically much more vibrant than most Elfmon. They also carry the most magical energy which can be equated by horns if they posses them. However, they are often associated with evil and natural disasters due to their villainous appearances.

Genetics and Reproduction
The Elfmon reproduce in the means of sexual reproduction. They can be considered the most fertile of the sentient races in Nermoni with a rather interesting ability to use their magical energy to perform a sigil on one's self to block the ability of becoming impregnated. Though, this method provides to be difficult as it requires the Elfmon's knowledge to do so. Growth Rate & Stages
The average Elfmon will begin to walk at roughly around 1 year old, learn coherent speech at 3 years old. The three main ethnicities of Elfmon will reach the ability to reproduce for males at 12 years old, and females may reproduce at the age of 13 years old. The World Government has since proposed the age of adulthood at 18 years old, but the Elfmon fought back at to ensure it to be 16 years old. Though, after a lengthy court trial as well as the implication of alcohol is only allowed to be served to those at the age of 18 years old, the idea that every other sentient species under The World Government's laws has accepted this age, the Elfmon had since rescinded their appeal and their age of adulthood is 18 years old. Ecology and Habitats
Elfmon prefer hotter climates, but they do not prefer the sandy desert of Caldara to live, at least. Vikor-Rot is much too humid for an Elfmon's skin, so they reside in Hetona despite their preferences, though many can be seen settling in Forexia.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Elfmon are omnivores, but they prefer vegetables, fruits, and other non-fatty foods to keep their physiques in check. The Dark Elfmon and High Elfmon also display much more of an appetite over the Azure Elfmon. They tend to find foods that help not only keep their figure at its peek, there is a distinct consumption that advocates more of a glow to their complexion.
Additional Information
Social Structure
Beauty is a high status among the Elfmon. Often times, one's beauty can be measured in three different methods accepted by The R&D Team to display a hierarchy of social status; Emotional Wealth, Physical Appearance, and Sociability. The emotional wealth displays how tuned an Elfmon is with imprinting an impression of how they treat others. If an Elfmon is vain to other sentient species, this is overlooked on how they treat their fellow Elfmon with a high-esteem of respect, within reason. Physical Appearance is self-explanatory on the surface, but carries more weight within its roots. Along with high-maintained grooming as well as hygiene comes with the intention of allowing their bodies to not be physically altered with imperfections. It is rather uncommon to find pure-blood Elfmon to perform activities that harm their physical appearance. Cuts, bruises, and other blemishes will discredit an Elfmon's beauty in higher societies within their culture. This will often make This very well could make the theory of Elfmon being naturals when their Innate Magic usually boils to a much more support-like magic. Sociability often displays how well they are capable of getting along with others. The differences between their emotional wealth and sociability is merely that acquiring a social network may not always require emotions to be used. So more often than not, an Elfmon will be surrounded by many friends, partners, or simply those that admire the Elfmon.

While they are a rather explicit race, the Elfmon can be found high in the slave trade for their... assets. As for their non-sexualized assets, Azure Elfmon's horns tend to be used in alchemy for their richness in magical energy on the Black Market. Many supersititons stated that if you eat the meat of a tattooed Elfmon, one would find themselves to have more successful fertility in the given future. Facial characteristics
The difference between Elfmon and other sentient species within the facial region can only be described as "sculpting beauty". They appear to be immune to the gather blemishes on their face, pimples, black heads, and other imperfections that develop in other sentient species are simply nulled. Their ears are pointed in varying ways, though this is a trait that can vary depending upon the parents of the offspring. Geographic Origin and Distribution
Their more closely populated in Hetona and Forexia, though the High Elfmon and Dark Elfmon tend to reside in Hetona while the Azure Elfmon tend to inhabit Forexia. Average Intelligence
The average intelligence of Elfmon are considered to be under the notion of the traditional average. Though, they are more inclined to be much more situationally aware of specifics, often referred to as a Sixth Sense. Though, this hypothesis cannot be completely tested due to too many independent variables within each study. If an Elfmon were to pursue more complex Innate Magic skills, they will find themselves delivering much more devastating results, but most affirm their lack of stamina within these fields if they are not an Azure Elfmon. Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The eyesight of an Elfmon is considered to be average as well as their hearing, despite the charming qualities of each feature. However, their magical energy is one that is carried with a rather large bar set. Most are quite capable of powerful magics, but their stamina with said magic can be lacking if they are not practiced with higher intensity of high magical energy usage. But among this, Elfmon always will find a means to turn the heads of others, those in a relationship, stuck-up, ect. Naming Traditions
Both the males and females tend to be leaned towards a more feminine naming. Though, in the recent years, the males have been acquiring more masculine names.
Major Organizations
The Hetona Royal Bloodline - The most notable Elfmon conglomerate is undoubtedly the Hetona Royal Family. This goes without saying that they carry high influence on the overall continent and country of Hetona. Along with being a monarchy with a Queen Athena Hetona at the crown of the current bloodline along with Princess Vedette Hetona as the two most notable pure-blood Elfmon.
Beauty Ideals
The overall physical appearance of an Elfmon's ideals can only be measured to more vibrant colored clothing, more scandalizing attire, and overall presentation when expressing one's personality.
Gender Ideals
Elfmon often prefer the opposite sex. However, there is often times where they find themselves becoming attracted to the same sex depending if those qualities often translate well enough to their same sex partner.
Courtship Ideals
Elfmon will often wish for someone that praise them for their beauty or their overall talents. While they are prideful, they do not mean to be absolutely showered in adoration, but rather, to be appreciated. They will look for those that often do not have many marks upon their body, or may prefer the complete opposite depending on their cultural upbringing. However, the standard Elfmon, above all, focuses on finding a partner that can provide them the pleasure they desire... this can be through adventure, amenities, ect. As mentioned with Courtship Ideals, they wish for a someone to carry them with a high-esteem, almost like a prize. And in return, they shall provide the same personality boon to their partner. Most Elfmon, if it either be another Elfmon or simply another race, will boast about their partners to others. Major Language Groups and Dialects
The language of the Elfmon is one to be described as fluid and harmonic language. It carries much of an attractive tune when Elfmon speak to one another. Those, when dealing with races that do not understand the language will make their dialect more whimsical and mixing it together with Common to lull their possible partner.
Common Dress Code
They prefer to be in more revealing clothing for the sake of showing off their... assets that they hold to proud pedestal. With each of the Elfmon they do like to wear vibrant colors with particular spots on the clothing to keep their potential partners staring as to grab their attention. Couple this with often expensive attire overall, they would consider this to be formal attire.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
The culture of the Elfmon is rather clear cut. They pride the physical appearance of one another to a high degree as well as the pleasure seeking aspects of life. It was very common to find wandering Elfmon around the continents for what they are looking for. Though, for each of the three subspecies of Elfmon do have a few variations. High Elfmon prefer to have the prosperity of adventure with the wind to their back, while the Dark Elfmon prefer to pursue professions that reside to using their physical assets to drive their desires forward. Meanwhile, the Azure Elfmon prefer to take on professions that help deliver a service that often deals with tangible results such as cooking, smithing, or other materialistic gains. Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
While the R&D Team does not like to speak about the fourth pillar of an Elfmon's overall worth in their community, they do describe to be a rather sensational art as it tradition to do your absolute best for your partner. This appears to be a tradition that carries over to the other three pillars, though it hard to admit that we did not wish to express any means of observing this tradition further. Common Taboos
If there is one thing that Elfmon do not take pride in is consummating with another Elfmon's relationship partner. This is considered to be not only the most immoral thing among most races, but downright a death sentence to an Elfmon's creditability to being an Elfmon, overall. If this is discovered, they are given a special branding on the right hand that signifies they are worse than a harlot in the Elfmon culture.
History
The Elfmon first appeared during Before Flooding at around the 1299 BF mark. They were widely revered as a rather sociable culture that quickly merged with the Humans' overall cultural footprint along side of them on what is now referred to as Hetona. During the lasting few centuries, Elfmon were mingling with the humans upon the continent, but many still believed in the pedigree of keeping the bloodline exclusive to Elfmon as they were to believed to be the most fairest of them all. With the ever growing population of half-breeds, the pure-bloods began to grow increasingly more enclosed with their ideologies.
After many of years that lead to many centuries, 309 BF to be exact, the average population of pure-blood versus half-breed had finally exceeded a less than fifty percent deficit that imposed pressure upon the pure-blood Elfmon population. This would cause them to begin to claim a harsh hostile takeover of erecting walls in favor of keeping the pure-bloods better sanctioned, as their culture focuses on the impulses of pleasure seeking adventures, which would often cause many Elfmon to wander like loose cattle and find themselves acquiring other sentient species out of a perplexed curiosity. And with Bestia finally adventuring to the continent, this only caused their curious nature of adventure to vex more half-breeds. So, the pure-bloods crafted the Penny Estate, a place that provided the most dense of trees with plenty of land to plot. With these precautions in place, they happily played with themselves in the woods as they began construction on the Penny Estate and prospered.
However, in 121 BF, this was when there was the fateful battle against The Sea's Leviathan began to commence and its slaying caused The Great Flood. Which given the best efforts of the Innate Magic Users from repelling the water back as best as they could, were forced to evacuate from Penny Estate. With nowhere to call their home, the pure-bloods on could find a suitable settlement to their personal tastes; the current monarchy that resided in the center. The human monarchy of Jandark had resided in the very walls of the impressive structure that managed to survive the flooding from the nearby rivers and streams quite well. It was the perfect home, so they devised a plan of a not-so hostile takeover. They decided to sacrifice a few of their pure-blood brethren to seduce their way through the ranks of the monarchy to gain political influence in the royal courts, any gain to allow for the Hetona Family to be elected in as the new monarchy. The current monarchs chose to not contest this change as many of them were secluded to many affairs involving Elfmon mistresses and gentlemen. So while there was many... many disagreements to these changes, it was all but short-lived when men and women were thrown in the way of allegations.
The current status of the Elfmon is one that approaches the avenue of keeping to the old ways of culture while also investing in the time to apply other races' cultures into their expanding growth as a people. Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
When it comes to interspecies relations, only a few options come to mind. Though, they tend to be friendly with many with the other races (almost too friendly), they are rather spiteful to Fishfolk for being quite the opposite of beauty in their eyes, despite the pretty scales that most of them can possess. Though their favored species tend to be Humans and other Elfmon, with Bestia being a rather close third.

Each Elfmon is garnered to be more physically beautiful than the average sentient species in Nermoni, though most of these claims are simply a biased ideal within their culture as beauty and pleasure seeking is well cemented in their culture. While there is no denying their beautiful forms, the Elfmon appear more voluptuous in figure. For the males, this can be healthier muscle definition despite lack of exercise as well as more feminine complexion which is assisted by their natural height. Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
The only distinct feature in terms of the body is there is the possibility of being born with particular tattoos. In the most recent generations, this has since been something that can only be described as an uncommon phenomenon due to many interspecies relationships over the years. Though, it is possible for generations to display these tattoos farther down the family tree. These tattoos are called Beauty Marks by the Elfmon, and according to their culture, amplify their beauty and call for one to be chosen of their pleasure gods for healthier offspring.
