-Where can I find the generator?
You will be able to access the generator at Nerdbuilding.com after August 1
-How much does the generator cost to use?
Nerdbuilding.com is free to use. Ads will support the majority of our early development operations. A premium account option WILL be implemented in the future. Exactly what will be included in the premium account, is still under consideration. However, no part of the default generator will be locked behind a pay wall.
-Where can I submit bug reports, if I find something that is wonky?
Please utilize our Github repository for bug reporting:
-What if I find a generation that doesn't make sense? (Giraffes generating in a polar environment).
Please utilize the "Bug Report" submission link within the generator and choose the "Invalid Generation" label. Or you can message us directly at [email protected].
Please provide as much information as possible. For sure, if you are getting polar bears generating in a tropical desert, there is not much justification needed to know that is incorrect. However, If you believe that Blue Fescue grass should not be generating in a warm temperate environment where silty soil is present, I would ask that you please provide a link to the documentation that backs up your concern.
I have tried my best to capture as much information about every item in the generator, and ensure generation parameters are correct. But, I am fully aware that I may not have the most accurate information. You providing links to articles, or documents, will definitely help me refine our information and make the generator more accurate for our users.
-Can I use the generated information in commercial products?
ABSOLUTELY! For the default generator, all information is publicly available. All we have done, is compile that information, create a database, and build a framework to use that information as accurately as possible. The main goal is to save you time and let you focus on your story.
No attribution or credit is required if you use content provided by our generator.
This includes, free guest accounts.
-What will the Premium accounts cost, and what will it provide?
The final price of a premium account is still under consideration as we decide what it would provide. We want to keep the cost as low as possible. Our Patreon has the option to support us and receive credit for free premium account access once those accounts are live.
Premium accounts will most likely provide access for users to customize indexes and replace the default ones in favor of their own. Some 3rd party integration may need to be restricted to premium accounts, but those integrations will be evaluated extensively before that decision is made.
