Generator Development Update: 0.1.0.mvp

1. Recent Changes

  • Added "Resources" panel, with initial resource divisions.
  • Added ability to "Register" for an account, using Google login or email and password.
  • Added "Climate" panel with initial climate sections.
  • Added basic resource structure generation for Mines, Lumber Camps, and Quarries.
  • Added Basic generations for agricultural professions, with simple separation between jobs, number of NPCs per job, and their age.
 

2. Upcoming changes

  • Calculations of Daylight (How much of the day has sunlight) based off of season and latitude. These calculations will be based off of earth constants.
  • Calculations for min/max temperatures of different seasons, based off generated location.
  • Calculations for average seasonal rainfall/snowfall, based off generated location.
  • Creation of Crop Rotations based off of seasonal climate information. This will give grains/vegetables/fruits a little more information.
  • Basic generation of labor centric professions, (mining, woodcutting etc) to identify which basic resources could later be available for more complex professions.
  • Creating descriptions and information for all items that may need a little more description.
  • Expand architecture and building styles.
 

3. Future Updates

  • Ability to save limited number of generated settlements, with the ability to edit fields.
  • Ability to export generated settlement into World Anvil, (creating new settlement article with all generated information)
  • More detailed filters to constrain generation
  • Ability to ignore all constraints. Use for more interesting settlements.
