This starts a multi mission set of events:   “Elisio, Gulia I have been given information on just how much of a traitor my itoko Ellis is. You will inform the GSF that they are too ready forces to deal with him. They will need to keep units at base to deal with what other problems happens on Nejiro as well.”   “We will inform them of this new mission.”   “Good I have a courier in route to your office with the information I have about Ellis and his forces. You will not store any of this information in any computers or data pads. You will only share what you have too with the GSF unit commanders only.”   “Hai Chiji!” They both respond.”   “I will be speaking with Sho-sa Kalakaua on this matter myself as this will be happening in her back yard.” Meiyo looks at them both. “I will also talk with the good Precentor as well.”     “GSF command to all GSF commanders you will come to the command HQ for a new mission briefing. You may bring your bodyguards, but they will not be allowed in the meeting room during this briefing.”     “So, are you going to send in the weapons that She asked for?” Westfield will ask.   “Yes. I will also have the engineers send people to set them up.” Meiyo will say. “She needs that base; I need her unit to patrol other parts of Shinrin. She would need to keep too many units around to protect it.”   “When can I tell her that she will be getting them?”   “I will see what is on hand and place orders for what we do not have.”   “So, you all understand that you are not to share any of this information with any in your commands, until the shooting starts any way. The Chiji knows that Ellis has people everyplace and that if he gets any word of this he will run. He has many resources and the Chiji wants him dead or alive. If dead she wants the body. Also, she wants the fortress intact, as is will be of use to Nejiro in the future.” Elisio will look to Gulia. “I will turn this over to you.” He will exit the room.   “So, as you were just informed the Chiji wants the fortress damaged as little as possible but understands if it is destroyed then so be it, but make sure that it is of no use to anyone. She also wants Ellis and is not worried if he is alive or not, but she wants the body. It would not be something of a surprise if he were to fake his death. Now for the things you need to know. His fortress has many sensor and weapons stations, and they go as far as 10 klicks from the fortress. He also has over a battalion of mixed troops to defend the fortress plus all of the weapon’s emplacements. Do not underestimate them as Ellis will have capable people working for him. His force has both Inner Sphere and Clan units. The recon spotted a dozen Battlemechs, over a dozen combat vehicles. They also reported Battle Armor and standard infantry. You will have to deal with these units plus the fixed weapons that cover the area around and in the fortress.” She looks at the commanders. “He may have other forces hidden. Our recon was only in the fortress not the area around it.”   “Well, it looks like our boy does not like company.” Will come from the commanders in the room.   “He does not, and you will need to take even more care when you get into the fortress. It has many tunnels, and they too are protected by heavy weapons.” Gulia looks at all of the commanders. “We have mapped out some of the weapons in and around the Shiro, but we do not know everything. Be smart in what you do some things may or have been changed. You will have support from Sho-sa Kalakaua and her unit. They will provide security for you while you operate from Camp Senshi. They cannot and will not take part in any direct actions. That is something that only the Chiji’s personal units …. Your commands can and will do. Not even Saganami Militia can take part in this because he is family, and some do like him. Along this line no ComStar units can or will take part in this operation. You will be operating out of Camp Senshi for the duration of this operation. Each of you will pick a total of eight units from your commands for this mission/s. Please choose your forces with care, as they will be all that you have to do all the work that needs to be done here. Each of your commands have units that will do some jobs better than others. This is not to say any of your commands do not have good people, it is that some are better at some jobs.” Looking at her pad. “Your first job will be to recon of the area around a point that has been shown to be open, but you will need to make sure, as I said before, things can change. All other operations will be to degrade his forces and defenses all the while keeping him pinned in his fortress. When this turns into a major fight and it will from what we have seen, the Chiji will inform her and all of the other Ichizoku and show them the information that caused this has caused this to happen.” She looks at the commanders. “As per your contracts you will have full salvage of any Battlemech. With the exception of one Thunderbolt and one Whitworth.” Gulia will show the commanders images of the two Battlemechs. “These belong to the DCMS, am I clear on this!” She will look over all of the GSF commanders to make sure they understand. “One last thing two DCMS has offered a bounty for these Uragirimono each one is worth 10 million K-Bills. The DCMS wants the ‘Mechs, what happens to the Uragirimono they do not care. Proof that they have been dealt with is all that is needed.” She will look at the room. “Any combat vehicles that are taken during these operations the planetary militia does get first rights to keep per your contracts.” Gulia will look at the commanders. “Last off the Chiji does not think this is something that will be a short mission set. The forces you will have to deal with are not to be trifled with. Elis may be many things, but one thing he does know is how to get the best for his money.”   “Sobo I will need you and your Mago-tachi to stay out of this.” Meiyo will inform Dr. Musashi. “They must stay in school during this.”   “Wakarimashita Meiyo-sama.” She will respond. “I will have Gunsho Tan and his Krestel ready to provide support as needed.”   “That is fine, but they too cannot stay in the area.” Meiyo will tell her. “This has to stay between Elis and I.”   “The Gunsho will be on hand for Medivac only.”     “I understand that my people are to stay out of this but?” Kona starts.   “If something happens in your normal patrol areas you are to take proper action.” Meiyo looks at Kona on the screen. “The safety of the Dragon’s property is why you are here after all.” Meiyo will watch Kona. “This is a personal matter that you and you people must stay out of.”   “Understood Sho-sho!”     “Tai-sa I know you understand that what the GSF will be doing has to be GSF only.”   “I do, and I have informed all units that they are to stay out of this.”   “Tai-sa that also includes your special units.”   “I know. They are not happy but will follow orders.”   “Good. We do have other work for them.”     “I know that you want to be of help on this, but it has to be very limited.” Jack opens with.   “I do understand, and we will stay away during this.” Wilkes responds. “I will have my people ready if others do look to take advantage of what will be happening. This is something between your wife and her cousin after all.” With a wicked smile. “If one of my transports needs to make a run to Shinrin ….. for say supplies ….. this would not be a problem?”   “No and Thank You for understanding.”     “Sho-sa I need you to keep your people at the locations I gave you.” Meiyo informs Barnaby.   “But we should be dealing with this problem as well as the GSF. We are part of your personal forces after all.”   “True but I need you where I am telling you to be.” She looks at him. “I need people, people I know I can trust at these places.”   “HAI Meiyo-sama!” With a very deep bow.     “So do you think they will pull this off?”   “They should, they have had bigger problems. Also, we do have a few aces in the hole.”   “I just hope we do not have to ask.”   “Me too.”     OK so this is going to be a sub-set of on going missions.   The units you pick will only be used for these missions and can not be used for any other missions, even other missions that may take place on Shinrin.   All of you should talk so work out the best forces to use for this group of missions. As in the above some have forces better used on some missions.   Each command will pull Eight units from your roster.   Each commander can pull any units they want but must have Two Battlemechs and Two armored units as its base of firepower. pick what other four units you want. Infantry and Battle Armor will be very useful at the Shiro :-X   How long they take are up to how you all do. This set of missions ends when Ellis is handed over or dead.   You will have missions taking place at other locations that deal with other "Problems" on world. They will be handled by the forces you do not send for these missions.   Only forces that are GSF can be used for these missions per the above.
