Artisan Ironwood - Stratosphere Ironwood trees are native to Nejiro and grow almost exclusively in the Tokage Hozon Shimasu {great lizard (saurian) preserve} and scattered through the Sequoia Rainforest, the trees are known for their great height and density - and their pride of place on the Nejiro flag, the tallest living tree is the Hyperion (173 meters) - most trees are within a few meters of this, the preserve property is wholly owned by the Saganami family and may not be leased, sold, or gifted, only thirty trees are harvested from the preserve every two years by Ironwood Forestry Management (five seedlings are planted for every tree removed) and only five of these are auctioned off - usually at the Nejiro Trade Show and the proceeds benefit several charities and educational funds, there are small groves of these trees planted on Parliament Hill, in front of the Governors Palace, in Jiyu Park in Yousai, in Sakura Onsen, the Garden of Tears in Hilo, and in groves around the Saganami landhold and Saganami Shiro, furniture made from stratosphere ironwood are highly sought after by interstellar collectors for their beauty, rarity, and their antiablative and antiballistic properties (they are also water resistant, acid resistant, and fire resistant), the pieces are distinctive due to the ring patterns and the finishing processes which lends unique distinguishing red color variants, stratosphere ironwood fibers and sap are used in products from paper to adhesives and medical treatments to textile composites for armor and hazardous environment and materials gear produced by Ironwood Composites, Ironwood Bo crafts staffs, bows and arrows, and fighting sticks for combat and competition

Taiyo Energy - (PI owns board chair shares) green energy utility supplying power on Nejiro to much of northern Tairiku and northern Shinrin, they also manufacture equipment, tools, hydrogen cells and generators   

Vulcan Arms Industrial Park - originally established by Phoenix Mercantile among the remains of a Terran Hegemony facility, some decades before the Nejiro Project was a thought, as a materials processing facility and trade station with the indigenous population, over time it evolved into a secure military manufacturing and research facility the size of a small city located a few hundred kilometers north of the city of Majuro on the Shinrin continent and operates its own ports (naval and commercial), rail, and air station, Vulcan Arms itself manufactures personnel weapons of high quality and distinction - their custom shop offers hand fitted individually built and refined knives, rifles, and handguns but there is a long waiting list

Sakura Onsen - located on Mt. Horaji in the Sunlight Mountains (a chain in the northeastern Kiso Mountains) in the Hoshizora Chiku it is a private hot springs resort originally established for Phoenix Industries employees and Saganami Dai Ichizoku members, in recent decades it has expanded to include other ichizoku and independent interests, it is home to the always popular Natsu Matsuri {summer festival}, the wider location has been classed as a natural preserve and non-industrial area and has been declared a National Heritage Site   

Yuzen Zomen Kimono - lead designer Eva Raven and her team create traditional handcrafted kimono, yukata and fans featuring designs that through layered dyeing techniques appear like famous and original ink wash paintings, they also employ these techniques on scarves, ties, and vests
