Mission 32 - Something Moved
General Summary
Have reports of unknown equipment and personal operating in the area south and east of the village of Leaf. Unit commanders prep a recon force to check the area.
December of 3067
Missions/Quests Completed
The reports of someone in the wood outside of Leaf were correct. Someone was holding training drills using some old buildings in the area. From what the recon team found the fire teams were working on holding the area while breaching the buildings. From the traces found these people do know what they are doing. They setup choke points on the road and traps to stop or slow down a response force. They also policed the area of anything that would give any idea of who they are. The recon team found tracks of both wheeled and tracked vehicles and that they were using indirect fire in the training they were doing. They also found a couple of O.P.s that had very good sight lines of the area. Captain Botley thinks that this maybe the armored unit that they ran in to at the power plant back in August.
The Hands of the Goddess was dealing with an avalanche not far for were their base is.
The Eagle’s Tears was unable to send forces for this mission due to security issues at its base.
The Phoenix Brigade is still working on things for ComStar and will be unable to send in units for this mission.
With what happened outside Samar Captain Cohon had her hands full.
