Mission 21 - The Road to Hilo

General Summary

This time out our local Mercs are escorting a convoy of building materials, food, water, clothing and shelters to Hilo. This convoy needs to get to Hilo as the cold weather is starting and will be very much in need for the rebuilding of the city.

To make sure that this convoy made it to Hilo our Merc force and ComGuard units split up in to groups. The Hand of the Goddess, Ironborn and Eagle’s Tears units took up flanking positions about half a klick from the main route for the convoy. Working as a buffer to the convoy. This did help the main guard of Kiah’s Hammers and ComGuard units. Only six raider vehicles made it near the convoy and they did not get to do any damage to the convoy. The Sugai river patrol was also in the area and cut down the ways that the raiders could attack the convoy, they also stayed with the convoy until they made Hilo. We also had some help from a very unlikely source, the Epona that did not join up with Kiah’s Hammers. It destroyed one of the raider vehicles and moved off in the same direction that the raiders did when they retreated from the area.
