After the fall of Lafigver, the Ethelan in Ilemseach quickly evacuated civilians to Uremseach beyond the Claypond River. The city of Avacouei, built around an ancient Dwarven fortress on the Claypond River, was quickly refortified, and defensive walls built along the river.
