Siege of Numunzat

Military action

While the spring weather stopped the Belsumese advance into Semseach, the Ethelan -- who were well acquainted with the Northern terrain -- were easily able to cut the city off from all resupply and lay siege to the city of Numunzat, which by now held a sizable majority of the Belsumese forward army. The Belsumese were unable to muster another assault group from their occupation force, and reinforcements from the mainland were simply too far. The forward commander had no choice but to surrender the city and his men in the heat of Tofructu in 1690.
