The Abandoned City of Kharguthra (ah-MON-doom)

Kharguthra was once a Dwarven frontier town, connecting Pelacolina to the Dwarven heartland in the Maleseach Mountains. During the Ethelan-Maletsokish War, it became a bastion and safehouse defending the Maletsokish Confederacy. When the city fell in 986 T.E., the garrison of Dwarves defending it retreated deeper into the mountains, destroying the mountain path behind them and forever cutting off Uremseach from the Dwarven Heartland. Today, the ruins of the once great city are no more than a Goblinfolk outpost.
