Porg Vogglot
Called everything from a criminal syndicate to a loose confederation, the Porg Vogglot is an organization of the Vogg Goblinfolk of the Maletsok Islands. It was instituted simetime in the 13th Century by Abercast migrants from the Mainlandroughly 200 years after the Ethelan settlement of the Islands. Situated in the Maleseachian Mountains, primarily near the Zindush Watershed in Semseach, "the Porg" as it is affectionally called is a loose conglomerate of the Vogg clans, each typically under the control of a stronger Abercast Goblin or family of Abercast.
Being loosely organized and fairly decentralized, the Porg is difficult to describe as a whole. Each Vogg clan has its own rules and standards, and each Abercast chief their own personal goals and methods. However, generally speaking, the Porg value strength, with the strongest in the clan holding positions of authority. They tend to use this strength to acquire the necessary resources and materials to survive, as very few Vogg clans have developed -- or indeed have the ability to develop -- agricutlure. Somewhat like their Dumadhur (see Dwarf) neighbours, the Porg does have a "Grand Chief" of sorts in the form of the High Priestess of the Steadfast Few, but she only holds the power of suggestion and her word is not binding.
The Porg is generally synonymous with the Steadfast Few, a Luthaenelist cult following the War Goddess Kirien the Red. The Steadfast believe themselves to the the only true remaining faithful of the goddess, gorifying her with acts of brutal war as in the Sacred History of Maletsok. Nevertheless, some Vogg clans in the Porg adhere to other traditions, such as the Gilded Warriors or the Group of Empty Faces.
