General Physical Condition
Bekka thought that Kellen looked tired. Every time she'd seen him before and every time after, he always looked tired. Like he'd been missing sleep since the day he was born.

He is uncommonly short, even amongst the Fienen people who already tend to be short.
Facial Features
Exhibits many typical features of the Fienen people- dark, monlid eyes; black fine-textured hair; short angular nose. His cheekbones, chin, and jaw are more pronounced and angular than average.

- short, shitty time in the consortium (~ 1/2 year)
- adventuring in the west with Fennigen Kris and the boiz (~4 years)
- developing the technology for Biosteel prosthetics
- travels around to different areas of the empire, attaching biosteel to important empire citizens in need of such services, also teaching his methods to other mages in various consortium. meanwhile, developing further uses of life magics in his free time.
- moves to getting government sponsorship for his life magic research
- starts getting really morally dubious with his research/experiments
- by year 2168, has completely halted his own aging by stealing life force from other humans
- uses his magic to assist emperor galdor in war efforts
- perfects the raising of the dead
- wow we're at war for a while huh

- year 2250, single handedly raises an entire army of the dead to scale the mountains to the east and take the plain at emperor galdor's behest
- public outcry at the mass rezzing of undead. military tribunal and subsequent treaties cut emperor's dependance on Kellen's army of the dead. Kellen begins training necrolords as an alternative to undead soldiers.
- wow the empire sure has a lot of territory now huh
- goes to Fienenheim to try to take the island for the empire. something snaps in him and he's like, what's the fucking point anymore. kills all of the galdorian army units he's assigned to be with. causes the fienenheim campaign to be a complete failure.
- pretty much gets fired by Prince Galdor VII, abandons his necromancy, moves to Vallikas, and settles down to be a farmer
- meets, falls in love with, and eventually becomes engaged to marry Drust Morcant
- stops an invading force from destroying his new hometown, revealing the extent of his magical prowess as a result. a show of power attracted attention from the empire who sends his favorite ex-disciple, Necrolord Danae Var Srikka to investigate. He leaves her for dead in a very public manner, (starting a legend that someone in Vallikas killed a necrolord,) before running away from the town, fearful of the consequences of Drust and the others knowing who/what he really is.

Mental Trauma
While he isn't necessarily haunted by all the terrible acts he's committed, he is traumatized by the toll they've taken on him and how he's become completely desensitized and inhumane as a result. His lack of personal relationships and emotional isolation for nearly a century has left him socially stunted and terrified of developing any meaningful connections with other people. He does not desire forgiveness for his past actions, as he feels he deserves none, and that any guilt he might feel is punishment for the cruelty he inflicted upon others.
Morality & Philosophy
Where most people tend to have a moral compass that tells them right from wrong, Kellen does not seem to have such a thing. Or maybe if he does, it's broken. Throughout his life, he has acted solely based off of what would benefit him personally, consequences to others be damned.
