a deep gray metal in it's most common form. impossibly pitch black when impurities have been removed.

similar to iron or steel. tough. best known for its ability to conduct magic as well as most metals would conduct heat.

mostly found in a processed form in ancient ruins of the old empire. some in a raw form has been found in the earth far to the north, further north than the galdorian empire has claimed lands.

As it has a great capacity for storing magic, it can sometimes hold onto spells and energies, even when unintentional. In and of itself, it is very benign, but if harmful magic is imprinted onto it, that can be troublesome.
