Friendly Ramsey didn't intend to kill his then pseudonym Valen Berrett on Erihe Gadus but when the trigger mechanism for the bombs failed, he volunteered to go back to make sure they went off. Although this made his pseudonym officially dead, he continued doing work for the Covert Company until the end of the war.
