Granny Nan
Nan Hestreka, known as "Granny Nan" to the children in her charge, is a spinster Jadwiga witch whose bloodline has fallen into obscurity. When Nan faced potential poverty last year (a situation the White Witches found unseemly for one of Jadwiga blood), she was appointed mistress of the Winter Guard barracks in the clock tower for the sake of propriety.
