Dread Lords

"The Six Seas are my domain and none others'. Fear my wrath if you dare to challenge me."
Thrazmohk, The First Dread Lord

Masters of The Dread Sea

Among the legions of undead that roam The Dread Sea, the Dread Lords are the undisputed masters. Risen from normal people like any other undead there, Dread Lords are imbued with a special spark of undeath and were usually immensely powerful and talented individuals even before they became Dread Lords. Dread Lords hold ultimate command over the undead legions, and Thrazmohk, The First Dread Lord, holds a lighter command on the other Dread Lords, ensuring that they do not fall out of line from his plans.
Androchian officials have stated that, were only the Dread Lords to be eliminated, The Dread Sea could easily be purged of undead within a decade. Unfortunately, their influence and powers are so great that that will likely never happen.

Nearly Immortal

Dread Lords are superior among the undead, and won't die simply from a few attacks. On top of their already ludicrously resiliant bodies, Dread Lords have a mysterious mechanism in place which allows them to reform even after their physical forms are destroyed. There are almost no recorded instances of Dread Lords dying and not coming back, but those few incidences that have been recorded all have to do with powerful Androchian clerics or associated adventurers. There are mentions of something or someone called "Qvalicil" which supposedly helped defeat the Dread Lords, but next to nothing is known, and it seems as though Androchia wishes to keep any such person or object an absolute secret - if it even exists to begin with.

Each Unique

Each Dread Lord, despite their broad similarities, is a unique individual and has a different personality, set of abilities, and appearence than any other dread lord. Some Dread Lords are ghostly, others zombie-like, many skeletal, some in the form of necrotic energy, and others yet in stranger forms. Not all Dread Lords are humanoid either - there has been at least one confirmed report of a serpentine one and another of a beastly one. With somewhere between 30 and 40 Dread Lords spread out across The Dread Sea, each individual has room to shine (or perhaps not, given how dark the sea is).
