The Iron Mountains

The Iron Mountains is a harsh and unforgiving place, where the terrain is as dangerous as the creatures that inhabit it. The range spans hundreds of miles, and the tallest peaks can be seen from miles away. The Iron Dwarves are the most prominent, having built a vast network of tunnels and fortresses deep within the mountains. They are known for their unmatched craftsmanship and their ability to mine the iron-like substance that makes up the mountains.
Other groups include the Hill Giants, who live in small clans throughout the mountains, and the Wyvern Riders, a nomadic tribe of humans who have domesticated the deadly beasts and use them for transportation and hunting. The Iron Mountains are also home to various species of dangerous monsters, such as the aforementioned wyverns and manticores, as well as giant spiders, trolls, and more.
Despite the dangers, the Iron Mountains are a rich source of resources, including iron, precious gems, and other valuable minerals. However, the treacherous terrain and dangerous creatures make mining and exploration a risky business, and many expeditions have ended in tragedy. The Iron Mountains also hold ancient secrets, with ruins and artifacts dating back to the time before the Cataclysm.
