Creation Story

When the Sealshatter War ended and the Unspoken Kindred were cast into the chasm of the Fallen Seal, the world lay fractured and untamed. From the remnants of chaos, the Tuath Dé emerged, a pantheon of divine beings bound by shared purpose and the spirit of renewal. They came to the mortal realm like whispers on the wind and thunder on the hills, weaving their power into the land and its people.

The Shaping of the World

At the forefront was Cath, the Warlord of Valor, whose voice echoed like the clash of swords. He infused mortals with courage and a fierce will to endure. Cath’s hand guided the first warriors, shaping their spirit in the crucible of battle. His presence ensured that even in death, honor would remain eternal.   Muain, the Flame of Ingenuity, followed, his hammer striking the anvil of creation. From his forge came not only tools and weapons but also the spark of intellect. He taught mortals the ways of craft and thought, ensuring their survival through ingenuity and perseverance.   Beatha, the Keeper of the Cycle, walked the paths between life and death. He planted the seeds of existence and tended to the passing of souls, ensuring that both realms remained in balance. His presence was a reminder that all life is fleeting, yet endlessly reborn.

The Weaving of Mysteries

In the shadows came Dìomhair, the Whisperer of Secrets. She moved unseen, her hands weaving the threads of arcane power and the mysteries of the unseen world. Mortals who sought her favor learned to embrace both wonder and caution, for the magic she offered could shape destinies or unravel them.   Ghrian, the Radiant Shield, ascended to the heavens, his golden light banishing the remnants of shadow. He granted mortals the strength to rise each day and face their trials, imbuing them with discipline and the spirit of unity. Under his gaze, warriors became beacons of order and justice.   Marcoille, the Wild Huntress, strode through the seas and forests, her steps nurturing the untamed world. She taught mortals to respect the balance of nature, offering them the gifts of the hunt and the harvest. Her song was the howl of the wind, the crash of the tide, and the rustle of the leaves.

The Keeper of Peace

DÀnadas, the Stillness at Twilight, brought tranquility and fate to the world. He walked among the mortals at dusk, whispering words of peace and reminding them of their place in the grand tapestry. His presence was a solace in chaos, a gentle guide through the uncertainties of life.

The Birth of Mortals

Together, the Tuath Dé shaped the world, crafting its rivers, mountains, and forests. They breathed life into its first inhabitants, gifting them resilience, wisdom, and the spark of the divine. As their creation flourished, the gods withdrew into the Otherworld, watching over their people from the mists of the unseen realms.   Yet, the Tuath Dé did not abandon their children entirely. Through sacred groves, standing stones, and whispered prayers, mortals could call upon their guidance, drawing strength from the ancient bond between creator and creation. The gods’ legacy endured in the songs sung by bards, the tales carved into stone, and the lives of those who walked the paths they had forged.   Thus, the Tuath Dé became eternal, their essence woven into the very fabric of the world they had saved and shaped.
