Their big rise to power came with the rise of High King Faltun in the year 6000. When he was discovered to have been mind-controlled by the Thought Reapers, a new House took the throne. Following the assassination of the new High Queen, a second member of House Caomhanach, Fayr, was chosen to take the throne. This has caused great unrest among the Elvish Royal Houses.
House Caomhanach are Garden Elves, deeply intuned with the forests and all living things that walk upon them. They see cultivating the land as the highest honor they can perform. To cherish and see Aisling's garden bloom, in hopes of presenting it to her when she returns.
