The Crimson

The Crimson, nothing is know about it other then it seemingly came out of nowhere. One day an trader was on the way from the city of luna to eastenburg and spotted something weird. He rid on his horse as he saw how multiple cows all started to look in his direction they didnt move, just stared at him. As he continued his rote he noticed red crystal everywhere on the field, making the ground under it also take on an red color. He was starting to be scared and his horse run faster. But after some time the horse stood still. The trader was panicking jumping from his wagon to look at the horse. As he looked the horse in the face he froze, the horse looked at him the same way as the cows, small drips of blood flowing out of its eyes. The trader run as fast as he could, all the animals on the way just looked at him, as if they would study him. When he finally got to eastenburg, he was out of his mind, screaming at the guards at what he was witnessed and the guards first brought him to an doctor. But just 2h after he was in the hospital sleeping, the doctors noticed something weird small red crystals forming on his skin, they didnt know what it was. Before they could even think the trader jumped out of his bed in an animalistic way and just looked at the doctors. A few seconds later, his body seems to grew in mass, grew into an grotesq mass of flesh. But before he could jump at the doctors he suddenly stopped and fell to the side, dead, he had small holes all over his body where huge amounts of blood flew out. An while later they opened his body and noticed red crystals inside his body even in his brain, they were shocked and directly send an squad on the same route the trader took on his way. But the squad never came back. As of now it is still unknow what the crimson realy is. The capital together with the city of luna are creating an squad to investigate this place at the moment. Will the squad also go missing without a trace?
