Kenji Uchiha

Disgraced Uchiha

The nephew of Fugaku Uchiha, Kenji was the son of Fugaku's older brother. His Mother died during childbirth. His Father, Hiroshi Uchiha, was set to be the Clan head very soon, due to him being the next in line, and having a Mangekyo Sharingan. Hiroshi decided to take his son out to train in the forest around Konoha when Kenji was 8, and he had planned the trip to take them a few days. He wanted to take his son to the site of a battlefield, to show him the carnage of war and prepare him for the hard life of shinobi. The Hidden Mist had heard of this innocent family trip however, and sent powerful ninja to capture Hiroshi, and take his eyes. After being ambushed, Hiroshi was able to kill almost all of them, but was very badly wounded, and running out of chakra. His son had helped a little during the fight, but Hiroshi knew the last Mist ninja would kill him and then kill Kenji. He made a very risky and selfless play, to protect his son. Hiroshi managed to rush down the last ninja and grab him in a bear-hug, though he was impaled by the enemy's sword while doing this. He then commanded his son to shoot a fireball at both he and the enemy, to kill them both. Kenji didn't want to, but eventually mustered up the strength to do it. The fireball mortally wounded his father and appeared to kill the enemy. Kenji's Father tried to comfort his son, and he decided to give his son his Sharingan eyes. After his father succumbed to his wounds, Kenji made it back home and told the Uchiha about what had happened. However, the Hidden Mist shinobi were clever. The Hidden Mist shinobi that was hit by the fireball managed to survive and alert his comrades in the Mist Hunter-nin Corps, a group specializing in destroying evidence and shinobi corpses. They returned to the scene of the carnage and destroyed all evidence that the Mist was there. They also set the corpse of Hiroshi up to tell a very different tale from the one Kenji would tell the Uchiha. When the Uchiha got to the site it looked like Kenji had assassinated his dad and stole his eyes. They had no evidence to the contrary, so they decided to exile him from the clan, on suspicion of murder. Kenji was then disowned by the Uchiha clan, and he was sent to live with his mother's sister, a Sarutobi Clan member. He claims that his goal is to prove his claims of Hidden Mist collusion and clear his name. His real motive is revenge, as he hates the Uchiha for casting him out for something he didn't do, and he hates the Mist for what they did to him.

Kid Genius

Despite all of his setbacks in life, Kenji is an extremely talented shinobi, with a powerful talent for fire release jutsu. Though he should technically have an Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, he doesn't know how to activate it. He can however, activate the basic sharingan, with two tomoe. Kenji is a Ninjutsu specialist who focuses on fire release and swordsmanship, in combination with his stealth skills and genius intellect. He was recommended by his sensei for the chunin exams two years earlier than the average, though his team leader decided he should wait for two years, to allow his two teammates to catch up.
