Naritha is a planet characterized by vast polarizing deserts spanning the opposing hemispheres, separated by a ring of habitable land around the circumference of the world. The center ring never leaves twilight, and has developed into a constant bazaar with all the world's merchants and the vast majority of the planet's population. One hemisphere lives in constant daylight and harsh heat, while the other is in constant darkness and frigid cold. However, this is not to say that no one lives in the desert regions. In the sandy heat live a nomadic group of warriors called the Daywalkers. They are a formidable force, hardened by years of harsh survival in the dunes facing mercenaries and the beasts that live there. They communicate on the battlefield silently through the use of spices on the wind to give orders. Their ability to silently eliminate their targets with nothing but the smell of black pepper to mark their presence has given them a marked reputation. Opposing the Daywalkers are the Frost Graves. These are mercenaries of the frozen wastelands, consisting of defected soldiers from the rings, cutpurses, and thugs. They are strong, sturdy folk, favouring brute strength over the Daywalkers' brand of stealth and efficiency. Taking on the bear as their sigil, they near folklore status for the ferocity and cruelty.
