Solus is the god of Light and Life, and is revered as a symbol of hope and guidance by many of the other gods and mortals alike. He is known for his selflessness, his unwavering commitment to justice and righteousness, and his desire to bring healing and restoration to all those who seek his aid.

Solus is known for putting an end to The Great Cataclysm, a catastrophic event that threatened to destroy all of Narien. Solus being the god of Light, their festival falls on the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. Called Des de Solus, this festival is on the last day of Solumen, the 8th month, and starts at midnight on the 28th. During this festival, a great parade of people carrying torches while dressed in flowery attire takes place, culminating in the lighting of a huge bonfire at dawn. It is customary that healers of all faiths offer their services for free on this holy day, where possible. People will also make offerings at midday - of flowers, herbs and other symbols of Life.
