Cyran Nordan grew up in a wealthy family that made their income purchasing and selling antiques throughout the empire with their main base of operations in Arran Edhil. He eventually grew up, fell in love with Saiden Nordan . He got married to her shortly after, much against his families wishes. It seems like at that moment the worst luck befell him. five years later his mother, father, and brother all died in a bandit raid. The raid captain - a terrifying beast of a man cackled maniacly while he cut open Cyran's arm and left him for dead. Saiden Nordan worried that he had yet to return from his voyage, went out searching for him and found him. She used her skills as a mage to restore his health and save him.

The death of his entire family left Cyran very upset and angry at the world for being against him.
