Outpost Roles in The Kastlands

The following roles are held in the court in a Kastland outpost:
  • Baron/Baroness- The baron or baroness are the individual who is placed in control of an outpost and run it. They report to The United Kastlands Front and answer to them as well as ensuring they are supplying them with runic crystals and other interesting evidence. The role of the baron or baroness is to ensure appropriate and qualified individuals are brought into the courts of their town and focusing on how best to build and grow the town.
  • Master-at-arms- The Master-At-Arms is the individual placed in charge of military might in the court and offers tactical advice as well as being in charge of training and preparing the military in the town. 
  • Magistar- The Magistar is placed in charge of all magical and 'supernatural' phenomena in their outpost. Deemed a strong practisioner of magic and a former skilled mage or court wizard. Their opinion is deeply valued by those looking for magical advice. 
  • Master of Hunt- The Master of Hunt handles guarding of the city walls and sending forth expeditions to hunt meats and food... an especially dangerous role with what are typically seen as the creatures worth hunting in the nation. 
  • Master of Raids- The Master of Raids tends to deal with adventurers passing through and focuses on creating bounties and ensuring that the discovery of a new dungeon is completed by their men. They typically control fast, scout style soldiers to investigate the area in search of a dungeon or space to delve into and explore.
  • High Alchemist- The high alchemist and Master of Artifice tend to work very closesly together on analysing unique items and attempting to utilise the material of the Kastlands to build their own unique creations in the hope of the protecting the outpost and making money.
