The Grand Library of Adara Tai

The Grand Library of Adara Tai is a landmark located in the city of Adara Tai, Ruza. The library once belonged to revered Ruzar war hero, Adara Tai who lived in the First Dawn. The Library is notable for having the largest collection of Pre-Dawn era texts on Naikwan, many of which were gathered by Adara Tai herself and her descendants. The Library itself was not built until after her death, but was dedicated in her honor.

Purpose / Function

The Library was built to house the numerous Pre-Dawn era texts that Adara Tai had gathered in her lifetime. Her descendants commissioned it to be built in her honor, and still continue to add new findings to the Library's selection.

History

The Library was commissioned by Adara Tai's descendants in 1873 1D, 20 years after her death. The Library's structure was not completed until 1891 1D, and her full collection of texts were not fully sorted through until five years later. Her descendants as well as other scholars and anthropologists have continued adding new findings to the library's collection, and as of the Third Dawn, it now has the largest collection of Pre-Dawn era texts on Naikwan.

Tourism

The Library is only open to the public for private viewings, and even then, any visitors are escorted and supervised to discourage thievery or vandalism of its texts.
