The Celestial Legion

The Celestial Legion is a militaristic body of aasimar that remains predominantly dormant. Vennlighet the Archangel of Kindness has for centuries resurrected the souls that have reached her plateau sending them back to Na'Endreth as Aasimar. The majority of known resurrections are birthed directly Njortanor aasimar societies, but occasionally one is born from another heritage causing them to grow up unaware of their time on Mt. Celestia and their resurrection. 
Faithfully devoted individuals may enter a rebirth ritual to become aasimar and join the legion. While the legion calls Mt. Celestia's lowest plateaus home, they are spread across the material plane upholding law and order where they can. The legion is spread wide but its organization holds no solitary allegiance as the majority of its effort is tied with its war in hell.
