The Fleshlands
Description
A nightmare come to life. Everything in the center of the aptly named Fleshlands is covered in a thick layer of pulsing gray flesh. Enormous Veins run across the ground, perpetually pulsing. The ground has just the right amount of give to make it uncomfortable to walk on. If anything pierces the meaty surface, vile liquids spray out and quickly burn through everything they touch. The creatures who inhabited this area are now twisted things who only slightly resemble their former selves. Everything seems to slowly breath and act as one. Even if there is no wind, the whole forest surrounding the center of the fleshlands sways in unified motions, almost as if it is pretending that a slight breeze moves through it. At any point in time, eyes might pop up in the distance, watching anybody who travels through this grotesque landscape. Some adventurers did try to find out what was going on there in the past. They said that the area has been taken over by a single creature. This creature is now known as Hivemind. While it doesn not seem to be an evil creature, it does change it's surroundings into something that could come straight out of a tale told to the most unruly of children.

Geography
The hilly terrain is interspersed by small forested areas, lakes and rivers. But not one resembles the natural environment they once were. It has more in common with the back of a flesh-giant.
From now and then large, meaty nubs can be found that have an almost cocoon-like appearance.
Fauna & Flora
With the general lay of the land, the flora has also been changed. Grass has changed into tiny wiggling tentacle-like feelers. Trees sometimes start moving like human limbs, twisting with multiple joints.
The animals and other creatures in this area also have fallen to the Hivemind's influence. They are aimlessly shambling across the surface of this creature, twisted to the point of almost non-recognition.
