Redwood
Description
The Redwood is a enormous forest area to the north-west of the Central Valethi Planes. It is home to the Elves living in Helladon. It's name is derived from the vegetation that is covering the area. For unknown reason, every plant that is growing in the Redwood has either red leaves or red-tinted wood. Some people say there are certain properties to the wood that comes from this forest but in recent times, the master artificer in Thordale has proven that this is not the case. Still, many continue believe that everything in the forest has some kind of innate power to them. In the past, this has been one of the reasons why many nature-devoted cults choose the Redwood to house their main place of worship. The circle of druids worshipping the nature-god Araden are a good example for this.

Geography
The forest extends up north and far to the west, nearly to Forlon's shoreline.
Most of it is a very densely grown forest.
Fauna & Flora
Pine-Forest makes up most of the forest but a wide variety of other common plants can also be found.
There is also a surprising amount of rare herbs and other plants in this area, more than one would normally expect.
Besides common forest-animals, there have also been sightings of Bugbears, goblins and kobolds in the past.
Since the Redwood spans such a large area, there is no telling what lurks in the depths of it.
