Carg Shores

The Carg Shores lie north of Forlon. A barren waste, nothing grows here. The people around here are all hard and weathered. Most of them are fishermen or hunters. There is no other way to survive in this area. They depend on the trading route between Liwic and Forlon to get access to grain and other basic food-resources.

The only village here is Zima, a small town in the north of the shores. Due to the barren nature of this area, not many military forces can be deployed here for a long period of time, making this a perfect landing spot for seafaring raiding parties or other hostile groups.

Even if the approach from the sea is dangerous since a ship could easily just clash against the cliff-sides that line the shore, it is still easier than landing near one of the main cities down south.

There is only one single military outpost to the north-west of Zima.

Geography

The shores are a barren wasteland. Basically a stone-shore that extends unnaturally far inland, right up to the Everblooming Mountains, which glow as a stark contrast in the distance.

Fauna & Flora

There was once an alchemist who managed to prove that stones might have some commonalities with plants. But he was quickly proven wrong by a much saner man. So, depending on your worldview, the completely stone-covered shores might be the most overgrown or dead area you have ever seen.
Animals however are another story. Enormous crabs stride across the lands, hungry predators hunt those who got lost in the endless sea of stone.
